"A Day in the Life" is a Radio show I did with my cohost, Brady Link, in Fall 2015. It was a rock music show that played different themese every week. This ranged from Punk to Folk, Women in Rock to the Beatles, and so on. This is a promo that emphaized what our show was about and when to listen to it.
While in "A Day in the Life" Brady and I had to do a newscast. Brady discussed political news, a Saturday Night Live segment featuring Donald Trump, and the criticism of the red Starbucks cups during Christmas season. I talked about what was happening in the entertainment world and how the weather was going to be. This audio piece was nominated for a Becky for "Best Radio News Segment" in BECAFest 2016.
After Brady decided to do his own radio show what was there left for me to do? Do my own thing, of course! Thus, the Peep Show was born. The Peep Show is a pop culture news show that has a new guest every week. This allows for new opinions and voices to be heard besides my own. I also invite my listeners to log in to the chat roll or call in to hear what they have to say about the issue or topic.
